The Validator 5000 series utilizes satellite communications to provide the complete real-time tracking solution for those who need to go beyond cellular coverage. Integrating a high performance GPS receiver and a satellite communication module into a compact enclosure, the Validator 5000 GPS tracking systems transmit positions and telematic data back to the control center. The web-based control center allows the user to communicate with and locate the vehicle, in addition to reporting and mapping the vehicle's activities.

Each GPS mobile unit can be programmed to log a record through any combination of the following options/triggers:

Power saving and sleep mode
Power and NMEALEDs
12 Months rolling (exportable) asset history
2x input for sensors
2x relay output of 15A, ideal for enable and disable of car's ignition or trigger horn
1x RS232 output for data logger downloading or NMEA

Event Recording Options:

Each GPS mobile unit can be programmed to log a record through any combination of the following options/triggers:

Time	Set period of time in seconds between each record
Distance	Set distance in miles between each record
	Set threshold in MPH to acknowledge a vehicle speeding
Stops	Set length of time in seconds to acknowledge a vehicle stop
Sensors	Record when an installed sensor is activated (i.e. door opening, latch release, boomactivited, fork activated)
Engine On/Off	Record when engine is started and shut down
Geo Fence	Record when vehicle enters/leaves a specified area
DOT	Record when vehicle crosses any state line
